Sound Familiar?

The marriage ended.
The questions didn't.

You may know exactly what happened in your relationship and still struggle with a more personal question. Familiar roles and routines changed overnight, and nobody handed you a plan for the next chapter.

“If I am no longer a husband, I no longer know who I am.”

  • — You withdraw from conversations instead of speaking up
  • — You explain yourself at length and still feel unheard
  • — Disagreement starts to feel like rejection
  • — Connecting with new people feels harder than it should
  • — You regret words you can't take back

These moments don't define you. They're a place to start.

What's Inside the Free Guide

The Role Transition Audit

Four categories give you language for the transition without requiring you to have every answer.

01

Ended

Roles and routines that have concluded, named honestly.

02

Changed

Responsibilities and relationships that continue in a different form.

03

Continues

Values, abilities, and commitments that remain available to you.

04

Chosen Next

What you intend to practice now, starting with one visible action.

Plus: facts vs. interpretations, five chosen values, and a reflection prompt to start your record.

A Practice Example

Calvin, 56, and the canceled lunch

A fictional member scenario from Module One.

The fact: “My son canceled lunch twice.”

The interpretation: “He no longer respects me.”

The emotion & values: Disappointment. He chooses care and responsibility.

The repair: “My message assumed your motives, and I regret that. Would another time work?”

The Communication Bridge

Five steps to a response you can stand behind

  1. 1. Observe. Describe what happened without judgment.
  2. 2. Name. Choose an emotion word for your experience.
  3. 3. Check. Examine the meaning you added.
  4. 4. Choose. Identify the value your response will express.
  5. 5. Communicate. Make a clear request or state a boundary.

Her mission: to guide divorced men to become men they are proud to be—grounded in self-respect, emotional strength, and confident communication.

Why men 50+? Among currently married men aged 55–64, the U.S. divorce rate rose from 6.3 to 11.1 per 1,000 between 1990 and 2023 (BGSU NCFMR, 2025). Later-life divorce brings identity questions in a different life context.
