The Gentlemen's Codex / Frequently Asked Questions

Straight Answers.

No Therapy-Speak.

You make decisions with clear information. Here is exactly how private coaching works, who it is for, and what you can expect when you take ownership of your next chapter.

Before You Decide

You Don't Need More Insight. You Need a Plan You Can Use.

Most men who reach out have already tried the books, the podcasts, and the gym. Some of it helped. But when the hard conversation actually starts, the old patterns take over.

The Gentlemen's Codex is personal coaching built around real conversations and real decisions. These answers cover the questions men ask most. If yours isn't here, get in touch and ask directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Men Ask Before They Begin

Who is The Gentlemen's Codex for?
Divorced men over 50 who are ready to reclaim their identity, rebuild self-trust, communicate with confidence, and lead a life they're proud of. If you're capable at work but quietly asking "Who am I now?" when the house goes quiet, this was built for you.
Is this therapy?
No. This is practical coaching and skill training, not talk therapy and not macho posturing. We work on what you say, how you say it, and what you do next. Coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health care, and many men use both.
How does the program work?
It's built on my framework, the Six Pillars of a Respected Man. You receive 12 private coaching sessions held every other week, open group support, Quick Chat laser coaching between sessions, and guided exercises applied to your real conversations and decisions.
How long is the commitment?
Six months. That's long enough to turn new skills into consistent action, not just a good week. Change that lasts needs repetition, and six months gives you the room to practice, adjust, and own it.
Why only 12 clients per cohort?
Because personal attention matters. Keeping each six-month cohort to 12 men means you get focused coaching on your situation, not a generic script handed to a crowd.
I'm busy. Do I have time for this?
Sessions are every other week, and the exercises are short and practical. They replace the hours lost to replaying conversations and second-guessing yourself. Most men find the time pays for itself quickly.
Do I have to talk about my ex or share private details?
You decide what you share. Our focus is on what is within your control: your choices, your voice, and how you want to live now. Nothing is required that you are not ready for.
What results can I expect?
Clearer boundaries, steadier emotional discipline, and the ability to lead hard conversations instead of reacting to them. I won't promise grief disappears. I will help you build the skills to be steady, not just look steady.
How do I get started?
Reach out using the contact form below. We'll talk about where you are, what you want, and whether a spot in the next cohort is the right fit.
